Thanks to my weekend bike trips and walks with family and friends, I’ve been able to visit small towns where time seems to have stopped. I’m specially attracted to old buildings where once people lived and worked. I like “old things.” I feel nostalgia when I visit these places and see those old buildings, many times abandoned, where once there was activity and people lived their lives. My uncle says it best: “Enrique likes rocks,” in reference to my interest in things, especially architecture, from the pass.
In this post I share with you pictures of old doors (and a window) I’ve taken in small towns near Reus, Catalonia, Spain.
And to think that behind these old doors so many things happened to so many people, so many stories were written.
